WaveReady

Carrier Grade CWDM/DWDM Optical Transport Solution

  • Extended range of optical transponders with embedded management channel
  • Low power consumption single and multichannel optical amplifiers
  • Optical protection modules switching in less than 15 ms
  • Passive optic mux/demux/OADM for CWDM and DWDM up to 80 channels

Simplicity: WaveReady is very simple to install and manage and does not require a laptop computer or special software to manage! The use of Wave- Ready’s unique embedded management features provides remote management of all nodes from one location without the need to build an optical supervisory channel (OSC) or a telemetry connection at every site!
Scalability: The WaveReady system can grow to up to 80 wavelengths.
Reliability: WaveReady makes use of JDSU’s high quality optical components and is NEBS Level 3 certified.
Data rate, protocol, and vendor agnostic: The WaveReady network proposal is capable of transporting signals from 100 MB to 10 GB and protocols from SONET, SDH, Ethernet, Digital Video, Fibre Channel…etc.
